I had doubts about this one while we were picking persimmons in the rain 3 years ago with a 3 month old strapped to my chest and I'm afraid to say I expressed them quite grumpily. But I will now publicly admit how very wrong I was. I thought, what do persimmons really taste like anyway? The answer is, they taste like THIS! It's incredible and beautiful and perfect for winter cocktails.
